My Favorite Oregon Coast Wedding Venues

From the beautiful beaches and rugged cliff sides to the miles of lush forest along the coastline, Oregon is truly one of the most stunning locations for any wedding or elopement! It is the perfect wedding location for couples who are lovers of adventure, epic coastlines, and jaw-dropping views! As a Pacific Northwest wedding and elopement photographer, I wanted to share all of my favorite wedding venues/locations on the Oregon Coast!

Whether you want to have a carefree relaxed wedding on the beaches of the Oregon Coast or a more traditional all-inclusive wedding experience at a venue, I share all of my favorite locations you need to consider for your Oregon Coast Wedding Venue!

    The Ruins at the Astor

    The Ruins at the Astor

If you’re looking for an Oregon Coast wedding venue that intertwines awe-inspiring beauty with historic charm in the heart of downtown Astoria, Oregon, then this is the venue for you. It is truly one of the most spectacular venues I have ever shot a wedding at. From its natural charm to its rustic architecture, The Ruins at the Astor brings an undeniable romanticism to your special day and creates a beautiful backdrop for memorable photos.

One aspect that I love so much about The Ruins at the Astor is its intimate feel despite its size. The main hall of this venue is close to 2600 SQ FT and can hold up to 300 guests. Some of its amenities include a grand entrance, a low-profile stage, an incredible sound system, a serving bar, and men's and women's restrooms. This large but incredibly charming and intimate Oregon Coast wedding venue truly has everything and is perfect for whatever kind of wedding you have in mind!

    Canon Beach Elopement

    Hug Point

When it comes to picking the perfect wedding ceremony location, nothing beats an elopement surrounded by natural beauty and privacy. Hug Point is a beautiful secluded beach centrally located on the Oregon Coast. If you and your partner are lovers of nature, then Hug Point is a location you need to consider. Whether it is just the two of you or you decide to invite up to 10 of your closest friends/family, Hug Point offers breathtaking scenery in a romantic and more private setting.

One reason I love Hug Point so much is that you have access to the beach at any time. There are no closures meaning that you can get married at sunrise, sunset, or at 2 in the morning if that’s what you want! You don’t need to stick to a specific schedule so you can truly enjoy the day, do some activities, and take every single moment in!

    Cannon Beach

Ahhh Cannon Beach, one of my absolute favorite locations on the Oregon Coast to photograph weddings and elopements. From towering sea stacks to dramatic cliffs, Cannon Beach's shoreline provides some of the most romantic, picturesque views imaginable. Cannon Beach is home to some of the most stunning beach wedding venues on the Oregon Coast with beautiful natural backdrops for your special day. Whether you'd like to get married on the sand or under a romantic canopy of trees, Cannon Beach has tons of options.

    Wedding Venues/Hotels in Cannon Beach

While you can't go wrong with getting married on the beach, if you are having a larger wedding with more than 50 people, oftentimes an actual wedding venue makes more sense. So here are a few beautiful wedding venues in the Cannon Beach area:

    Newport Beach, Oregon

Newport Beach, Oregon is another one of my favorite beaches on the Oregon Coast that is a great venue location for micro-weddings and elopements. Its located in a small beach town and has such a calming and intimate feel to it. Just like other beaches on the Oregon Coast, you do not need to get a special use permit unless you are having a wedding with more than 50 people or are going to have a large stage, tent, or anything like that. I love that this beach not only has white sandy beaches but it also has the most beautiful tall grassy area that makes for the most beautiful photo backdrop!
