Boho Maternity Session with a PNW Mama
This is Charmaine + Todd. They are two lovers in the PNW who wanted a boho maternity session to document this particular time they get to spend together before welcoming their sweet baby girl earthside.
We had a long chat on the phone before meeting up. I knew instantly that they were my kind of people!
Together, we talked about parenting. Also, how your life changes but also doesn’t. I did my best to show your babies fit right into your life. Even if you feel like they were always there.
We talked about the fun wild times of weddings and dates we used to go on with our partners. She told me about how she and Todd met. Later in life, granted, but knew they were meant to be together instantly.
I fell in love with their love, and I knew I had to celebrate this chapter with them.
Boho Maternity Session Details
We met at Discovery Park.
The wind was picking up and there was rain in the forecast, but the lighting was so perfect we knew we had to risk it!
Their sweet puppy Charley was having the time of her life as she ran around her parents while we played and danced in the field. Charmaine started singing, "The Age of Aquarius" and we all joined in.
It became the night's anthem as she danced in the tall grassy area where the wind gently swept her hair and dress.
Talk about total babe status!
Days after I continued waking up with that song stuck in my head. WORTH IT!
