Sunrise Couples Session at Tunnel Springs Park in Utah

We woke up before dawn to head up into the high hills of Salt Lake City, UT to Tunnel Springs Park for a sunrise couple session. It was colder than I thought it would be for October, but our excitement kept us warm and our spirits high.

Mackayla and Brandon had the best childlike qualities about their love. They ran through the tall, golden grassy fields and all of a sudden when embraced to sneak a quick kiss.

I had so much fun feeling like a wild child out there!

Keeping the Spark Alive with a Sunrise Couple Session at Tunnel Springs Park

These two are already married, but they wanted to document their love as it continues to grow each year.

Something I find very sweet and maybe something I should also think about doing with my husband. There is something admirable about wanting to continually document your love. It grows in so many ways and having visual documentation through those seasons of growth is a beautiful concept.

Plus, annual photos do sound like fun!

The Moon or a Paid Actor?

The moon decided to stay and hang out awhile with us. I think it wanted to watch the magic that was unfolding in the field that morning. I can’t say I blame it, if I wasn’t living in that moment with these two, I’m not sure I would have believed how amazing this morning was.

The PNW girl that I am, I asked these two Utah natives to jump in a tree as we were heading out. At first, they didn’t understand, but the closer we got to the trees the more all three of us wanted to get into them! The smell of the sweet morning dew that was now drying on the leaves and branches was something I wanted to bottle up and make into a candle. I think by the end of it we were all pretty happy we stopped to hang out with the trees.
