From the beautiful beaches and rugged cliff sides to the miles of lush forest along the coastline, Oregon is truly one of the most stunning locations for any wedding or elopement! It is the perfect wedding location for couples who are lovers of adventure, epic coastlines, and jaw-dropping views! As a Pacific Northwest wedding and elopement photographer, I wanted to share all of my favorite wedding venues/locations on the Oregon Coast!
Whether you want to have a carefree relaxed wedding on the beaches of the Oregon Coast or a more traditional all-inclusive wedding experience at a venue, I share all of my favorite locations you need to consider for your Oregon Coast Wedding Venue!
If you’re looking for an Oregon Coast wedding venue that intertwines awe-inspiring beauty with historic charm in the heart of downtown Astoria, Oregon, then this is the venue for you. It is truly one of the most spectacular venues I have ever shot a wedding at. From its natural charm to its rustic architecture, The Ruins at the Astor brings an undeniable romanticism to your special day and creates a beautiful backdrop for memorable photos.
One aspect that I love so much about The Ruins at the Astor is its intimate feel despite its size. The main hall of this venue is close to 2600 SQ FT and can hold up to 300 guests. Some of its amenities include a grand entrance, a low-profile stage, an incredible sound system, a serving bar, and men’s and women’s restrooms. This large but incredibly charming and intimate Oregon Coast wedding venue truly has everything and is perfect for whatever kind of wedding you have in mind!

When it comes to picking the perfect wedding ceremony location, nothing beats an elopement surrounded by natural beauty and privacy. Hug Point is a beautiful secluded beach centrally located on the Oregon Coast. If you and your partner are lovers of nature, then Hug Point is a location you need to consider. Whether it is just the two of you or you decide to invite up to 10 of your closest friends/family, Hug Point offers breathtaking scenery in a romantic and more private setting.
One reason I love Hug Point so much is that you have access to the beach at any time. There are no closures meaning that you can get married at sunrise, sunset, or at 2 in the morning if that’s what you want! You don’t need to stick to a specific schedule so you can truly enjoy the day, do some activities, and take every single moment in!

Ahhh Cannon Beach, one of my absolute favorite locations on the Oregon Coast to photograph weddings and elopements. From towering sea stacks to dramatic cliffs, Cannon Beach’s shoreline provides some of the most romantic, picturesque views imaginable. Cannon Beach is home to some of the most stunning beach wedding venues on the Oregon Coast with beautiful natural backdrops for your special day. Whether you’d like to get married on the sand or under a romantic canopy of trees, Cannon Beach has tons of options.
While you can’t go wrong with getting married on the beach, if you are having a larger wedding with more than 50 people, oftentimes an actual wedding venue makes more sense. So here are a few beautiful wedding venues in the Cannon Beach area:

Newport Beach, Oregon is another one of my favorite beaches on the Oregon Coast that is a great venue location for micro-weddings and elopements. Its located in a small beach town and has such a calming and intimate feel to it. Just like other beaches on the Oregon Coast, you do not need to get a special use permit unless you are having a wedding with more than 50 people or are going to have a large stage, tent, or anything like that. I love that this beach not only has white sandy beaches but it also has the most beautiful tall grassy area that makes for the most beautiful photo backdrop!

As an Oregon Coast Wedding photographer, I have gotten the opportunity to shoot several weddings at some of the most beautiful Oregon Coast wedding venues. But, there are still a few wedding venues on the Oregon Coast where I would love to capture someone’s special day!
Crook Point is the most stunning coastal wedding venue in Oregon that offers so many different ceremony and reception sites to choose from. This 3,000-acre family-owned historic estate has everything from beachfront ceremony sites to cliff-side reception spaces overlooking Arch Rock. Whether you are planning a larger wedding with up to 300 guests or an intimate elopement with a small group of your closest friends and family, Crock Point offers several unique packages to help you plan your perfect wedding day!
SeaWinds Estate is a breathtakingly gorgeous waterfront mansion with 72 acres of direct oceanfront views. If you’re planning a more intimate wedding with up to 25 of your closest friends and family members, then this is an amazing venue. This venue can accommodate up to 16 overnight guests and requires a 2-night, 3-day rental. So this is perfect for the couple looking to have a weekend-long wedding celebration surrounded by those they love most. Who says a wedding celebration has to be limited to just one day?
With the epic views from this property, you can have a beautiful cliff-side ceremony and then continue the party in the beautiful indoor space with floor-to-ceiling windows! Surrounded by nothing but nature and your loved ones, this Oregon Coast wedding venue is truly something special and could be perfect for your intimate wedding celebration!
Heceta Lighthouse is a beautiful and charming Oregon wedding venue with amazing views of the Oregon coast. This venue is super unique as it is a 128-year-old lighthouse and keeper’s home property so it offers tons of history and charm. This light and airy wedding venue has views that truly speak for itself!
Capella by the Sea is such a special wedding venue located in Azalea Park. This venue is so special because it was built as a memorial sight for Elmo Williams’ late wife, Lorraine. He built this beautiful ceremony location honoring his wife with the hopes “that all who enter here will know the serenity of her spirit and find peace.” Surrounded by a beautiful lush forest, this rustic Capella constructed of native wood and stone is truly such a serene and peaceful location for a romantic and intimate wedding ceremony.
The Salishan Coastal Lodge is one of the most luxurious Oregon Coast Wedding venues. With 16,000 SQ FT of indoor and outdoor reception spaces, there are so many options for every type of wedding! From the beautiful ocean views to the towering fir trees surrounding the property, you couldn’t ask for a more beautiful backdrop of scenery. The Lodge also offers an extensive list of amenities including private beach access, a spa, a breathtaking golf course, and, tons of hiking trails. And when it comes to planning your wedding at the Salishan Coastal Lodge, they have an amazing team to help you with everything you could possibly imagine!
