But with so many options for locations it can be super overwhelming to choose a venue or elopement location. In this guide, I share my favorite Olympic Peninsula Wedding Venues to help you decide which one might be right for you!

Where is the Olympic Peninsula?
The Olympic Peninsula is located in western Washington State and stretches from Puget Sound to Seattle. And obviously includes Olympic National Park. Lying right on the Pacific Ocean, it truly has some of the most epic coastline views! With waterfalls, rainforests, glaciers, and jagged cliffs, it feels like it is straight out of a movie!
Why should you elope/get married in the Olympic Peninsula?
The real question is, why wouldn’t you? If you’re located in the Pacific Northwest then it is an even more obvious decision. And even if you are a bit further away, trust me, it’s 1000% worth it. You truly have so many different types of scenery that can fit almost anything you imagined for your wedding or elopement. Want to get married on the beach? Or how about in the middle of the rainforest? Or maybe in the mountains with snow-capped glaciers in the background? If you’re an adventure lover who dreams of getting married in a place with a diverse ecosystem and jaw-dropping beauty, then the Olympic Peninsula is a no-brainer!
My Favorite Olympic Peninsula Wedding Venues
Washington is one of the most beautiful places for a wedding, and with so many unique wedding venues, it can be hard to make that decision. So as a Washington wedding and elopement photographer, I wanted to share some of my favorite Olympic Peninsula wedding venues with you!
Olympic Peninsula Wedding Venues on the Beach/Waterfront
Kalaloch Lodge
If you’re looking for an Olympic Peninsula wedding venue with lots of charm and character, then you need to check out the Kalaloch Lodge. It's driftwood-lined beaches and lush evergreen forests create the most inviting and cozy vibes. You can either choose to have your ceremony on the property in front of the adorable Bluff cabins or on the beach if you get a permit from the National Park Service. This venue also offers indoor ceremony spaces, but in my opinion, this venue is the best in the summer months because that is when they allow outdoor wedding ceremonies on the property. After your ceremony and reception, you can celebrate with a bonfire on the beach with just your partner or with all of your friends and family.
Alderbrook Resort & Spa
Whether you want a romantic waterfront wedding ceremony or a more formal ceremony on the terrace, Alderbook can make it happen. This gem of a venue is tucked away on the Kitsap Peninsula with spectacular views from every angle! Offering tons of amazing food, stunning ceremony and reception spaces, and a backdrop of the stunning mountains and the Hood Canal, it’s the perfect recipe for an unforgettable wedding on the Olympic Peninsula!
Lake Quinault Lodge
Less than a 3 hours drive from Seattle located on Lake Quinault is a super charming wedding venue known as Lake Quinault Lodge. This historic lodge is known for its unique farm-to-fork dining experience, beautiful setting, and 91 guest rooms with picturesque views. With prime lakefront property, the lodge offers tons of fun activities like kayaking, paddle boarding, row boats, and canoes to fill your weekend with memories that will last!
The Belfry at Seabrook
This is the coastal oasis wedding venue of my dreams! The Cape Cod bungalow-style architecture located on the coast with trees lining the beach is truly magical! This venue has such a bright and airy feel with a neutral muted palette which allows you to truly make the space exactly what you imagine with flowers and decor. Nestled in the town of Seabrook, it is only a short drive from Seattle and Portland but still feels like a destination oasis! You can have your ceremony along the coast with the beautiful beach in the background and then move the party inside to the beautiful reception space.
Nature Bridge
Nature Bridge is a super unique Olympic Peninsula wedding venue because it is also a summer camp that teaches kids about Olympic National Parks ecosystems. The property is nestled on the shore of Lake Crescent surrounded by the most beautiful views of mountains and forest. Most couples who get married at Nature Bridge typically make it a weekend celebration. The property offers tons of cabins for you and your guests along with tons of accommodations.
Emel House
Located in Scenic Beach Park right on the water is this adorable vintage home built back in 1911. This unique wedding venue is located right on the Hood Canal, is surrounded by beautiful gardens, lush landscapes, and even has a charming gazebo. With a capacity of 40 guests, this is a great venue for a more laid back and intimate wedding.
Off-Path Venues - Salish Sea Cove
Off Path Venue is super unique and they definitely do things very differently than most wedding venues. Instead of paying for the venue, food, wedding planner, and everything else that you need for a wedding, this “venue” only requires that you pay for the rooms you will be staying in. As long as their rooms are full, they will basically cover the bill for everything else. And on top of that, their location is absolutely stunning. Located on the water of the Salish Sea Cove, you get to enjoy views of the beautiful wilderness from rugged coastline and beaches to snow-capped peaks and huge pines.
Manchester - Torpedo House
This historically rich wedding venue is on the shoreline of Rich Passage in Manchester State Park’s day-use area. With beautiful water views and tons of open grass surrounded by Douglas Firs and Maple trees, it is another great Olympic Peninsula wedding venue option! I will say this is definitely best for a more calm wedding as no amplified music is allowed.
Olympic Peninsula Weddings Venues in the Forest
Island Wood
Island Wood is the type of wedding venue that truly has it all! This Olympic Peninsula wedding venue is like a whimsical wonderland that will truly make your wedding day magical. This private and tranquil wedding venue is only accessible by a 35-minute ferry boat ride from Seattle. Surrounded by lush woods, ponds, meadows, gardens, and even treehouses, this venue is one of a kind.
The 250-acre property is a perfect opportunity to get all of your friends away from the city to celebrate your love for the weekend! And honestly, this is more of a retreat than a wedding venue because of how incredible their accommodations are for not only you but all of your guests as well! With tons of outdoor activities, amazing food, and even an art studio, you and your guests will have the best time celebrating!
Old Alcohol Plant Inn
Old Alcohol Plant Inn is a full-service wedding venue with lots of charm and even better views. Celebrate your love and say “I do” with the Olympic Mountain Range and Port Townsend in the background. From small and intimate gatherings to weddings of up to 100 people, the Old Alcohol Plant Inn offers year-round indoor venue spaces and seasonal outdoor spaces are also available. And the best part is that they have an amazing team of planners that will help you with everything from tables and chairs and amazing food to cozy accommodations for all of your guests!
Blue Mountain Meadows
This bed and breakfast located minutes away from both downtown Sequim and downtown Port Angeles will blow your mind. With unreal idyllic views of the farm, garden, orchard, AND vineyards surrounded by the Olympic Mountain foothills a wedding here would be nothing short of amazing! Whether you want to elope with just your partner or bring along some of your closest family and friends this venue is ideal for smaller and more intimate weddings.
The Elkhorn Ranch
Located at the foot of the Colonel Bob Wilderness Area near the Olympic National Park on Washington's Pacific Coast, the Elkhorn Ranch is a working ranch that hosts tons of special events including weddings. This is the perfect venue for those wanting a more rustic feel for their venue as the reception takes place in a beautiful and charming barn. This venue is absolutely stunning in the early fall months as all of the trees in the surrounding areas begin to change colors which make for the most amazing backdrop for photos!
Fern Acres
If you’ve been dreaming of a secluded magical forest wedding in the Olympic Peninsula, then you need to check out Fern Acres. This venue feels like it comes straight out of a fairytale book with the massive ferns and moss-covered old-growth stumps in every direction. You can choose to have your ceremony in the Asian and English-influenced gardens or tucked away more privately in the secluded forest! This venue is ideal for smaller and more intimate micro-weddings and elopements!
Olympic National Park
