When it comes to planning a wedding, picking out your wedding venue is one of the first and most important tasks. With so many options to choose from, I want to help you out. As a Washington wedding photographer, I have captured a lot of weddings at so many different venues so I wanted to share the ones I love most. This guide showcases some of my personal favorite Washington wedding venues to hopefully help you find the perfect place to celebrate your wedding day!
JM Cellars is a modern, family-owned winery in Woodinville, Washington. Surrounded by a seven-acre arboretum, the winery feels like a private lodge nestled in the forest. Imagine aged barrels, twinkling string lights, and chairs draped in sheepskins. Their romantic and rustic decor makes this an amazing wedding venue for a fall or winter wedding. It has really cozy vibes with both indoor and outdoor fireplaces which really sets the mood. The venue has a guest limit of 100.
$8,200+; July – September
$7,700+; May, June, October
$7,400+; November – April
Gray Bridge is a beautiful and luxurious outdoor wedding venue located in Sultan which is about an hour outside of Seattle. This waterfront wedding venue is nestled in the forest with stunning gardens and crystal-clear ponds all throughout the property. From modern outdoor firepits to an upscale tiki bar this is a super fun and unique wedding venue that has everything you need for a stunning wedding day!
Twin Willow Gardens is located in Snohomish which is about 45 minutes North of Seattle. The ceremony city is located in the middle of the forest surrounded by a canopy of old-growth trees and lush gardens. At this venue, the nature surrounding it is truly the decor. Twin Willow Gardens has such a tranquil and intimate feel making this the perfect venue for those wanting a more serene and ethereal wedding.
Starting at $9500: Weddings only offered on Friday or Saturday
Woodstock Farm isn’t your traditional wedding venue. Located in Bellingham, Woodstock Farm is a 16-acre park nestled in a bluff with panoramic views of Bellingham Bay. The park offers a beautiful shoreline with island views, historic Craftsman-era buildings, mature landscapes, and diverse local wildlife. The park has a specific area that can be rented out for big events such as weddings which also offers a space for the reception. It can accommodate up to 100 guests.
$125 per hour ($190 per hour for commercial use)
$1,250 per day ($1,900 per day for commercial use)
3-hour minimum rental
Santucci Farms is a super diverse wedding venue in Mount Vernon that can accommodate elopements and micro weddings. It’s a super charming barn that provides a blank slate for you to bring your dream vision to life. The property has the most beautiful gardens that are the perfect location for some romantic bride and groom portraits. This venue can accommodate up to 125 guests.
Rental ranges from $3000 – $4500: Included in venue rental price are natural wood folding chairs, cocktail tables, banquet tables, wood arbor, yard games, and more!
Located at the base of the North Cascades Mountains is the Free Stone Inn which is known for its intimate setting surrounded by nature. Just imagine rustic log cabins surrounded by massive trees with the North Cascades Mountains as your backdrop! It is truly a beautiful venue. Its peak season is May through October and during this time you can use both the indoor and outdoor areas. The off-season is between November and April and can only accommodate up to 50 guests as all wedding celebrations must be held inside. And if you choose to get married in the winter months you can heliski which is an epic way to celebrate!
Less than a 3 hours drive from Seattle located on Lake Quinault is a super charming wedding venue known as Lake Quinault Lodge. This historic lodge is known for its unique farm-to-fork dining experience, beautiful setting, and 91 guest rooms with picturesque views. With prime lakefront property, the lodge offers tons of fun activities like kayaking, paddle boarding, row boats, and canoes to fill your weekend with memories that will last!
If you’re looking for an Olympic Peninsula wedding venue with lots of charm and character, then you need to check out the Kalaloch Lodge. Its driftwood-lined beaches and lush evergreen forests create the most inviting and cozy vibes. You can either choose to have your ceremony on the property in front of the adorable Bluff cabins or on the beach if you get a permit from the National Park Service. This venue also offers indoor ceremony spaces, but in my opinion, this venue is the best in the summer months because that is when they allow outdoor wedding ceremonies on the property.
Off Path Venue is super unique and they definitely do things very differently than most wedding venues. Instead of paying for the venue, food, wedding planner, and everything else that you need for a wedding, this “venue” only requires that you pay for the rooms you will be staying in. As long as their rooms are full, they will basically cover the bill for everything else. And on top of that, their location is absolutely stunning. Located on the water of the Salish Sea Cove, you get to enjoy views of the beautiful wilderness from rugged coastline and beaches to snow-capped peaks and huge pines.
Located at the foot of the Colonel Bob Wilderness Area near the Olympic National Park on Washington’s Pacific Coast, the Elkhorn Ranch is a working ranch that hosts tons of special events including weddings. This is the perfect venue for those wanting a more rustic feel for their venue as the reception takes place in a beautiful and charming barn. This venue is absolutely stunning in the early fall months as all of the trees in the surrounding areas begin to change colors which makes for the most amazing backdrop for photos!

Adeline Farms is a historical gem in Woodland, Washington that offers the most beautiful setting for your wedding. You can enjoy your wedding ceremony under the 600-year-old Oak Tree and then celebrate in the East Courtyard and 100-year-old barn for the reception. One of my favorite things about Adeline Farms besides its beauty is that they offer just about everything you need for your wedding day. They have an onsite florist, a bridal suite, wood accent tables, vintage furniture setups, a bar area and so much more!

The Wayfarer is a beautiful farm wedding venue on Whidbey Island that can host up to 100 guests. The farm offers open, rolling grounds, and an orchard, and has two barns to accommodate your guests. One whitewashed and bright for a possible intimate ceremony or reception. The other barn, complete with an exposed beam ceiling, antique bar, and indoor/outdoor space is perfect for cocktail hour and dancing. On the property, you will find acres of open rolling grass with an old-growth orchard. With so much property, you can choose from several different areas for your ceremony site.

Four Springs House is a picturesque wedding venue located on Camano Island. Nestled in the lush forest, this venue is ideal for the couple wanting a small and intimate wedding surrounded by nothing but nature. This is a simple venue that really lets its outside scenery shine.
Salter Water Farm is a unique venue on the San Juan Islands that is located on 162 acres of land. Located on top of a ridge that overlooks the Salish Sea and the Olympic mountains, the views here are unreal! This venue features the most gorgeous ceremony site overlooking the mountains and ocean and then a rustic yet modern barn for the reception. This venue also offers The Inn which which is super unique lodging that features small cabins, tiny homes, and the barn suite.
When planning your wedding, the wedding venue is definitely up there with one of the first things you should do. This is because so many venues book out YEARS in advance. I would say you need to look into booking your venue at least 1-2 years in advance. This may seem too far in advance, but trust me, some of these venues are already booking for 2025 and we are only halfway through 2023.
If you have both a dream venue and a dream photographer you want to book, then my advice would be to reach out to the photographer to coordinate with their availability and the availability of the venue. This will make the process much easier and ensure that you can hopefully book both.
